Larry Saylor II, D.M.D., M.A.G.D., P.A.
Dr. Larry Saylor graduated from the University of Florida Dental School in 1994. He immediately began working for Darryl Price DDS in his home town of Brandon, Florida. Dr. Saylor picked Dr. Price to associate with out of many dentists he had been visiting with since high school, because the practice was relationship based and the patients were like family.
Dr. Saylor considers this to be a priority today. Dr. Saylor was able to grow his dental skills tremendously after graduation due to the great relationship he had with Dr. Price. His first 6 years of practice were dedicated to attaining excellent clinical skills. Dr. Saylor began to separate himself with a commitment to advanced training, mastering cosmetic dentistry and comprehensive dentistry particularly complex bite problems and multiple missing teeth. His training includes the Pankey Institute, LVI, Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education with Frank Spears, Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies, and Aesthetic Advantage in New York . These learning institutions represent the best dentistry has to offer. Dr. Saylor invested time and money early in his career so he could offer World Class dentistry to his patients in the Tampa/Brandon area for many years to come. Not only does he have the training but he also has the experience in cosmetic and comprehensive dentistry. His approach involves spending time at the New Patient Experience to listen to you and your particular dental concerns then performing a comprehensive exam to diagnose any existing needs or potential vulnerable areas. With this information a Comprehensive Master Plan is tailored to your unique situation and you decide with the doctor how to approach attaining optimum dental health. An emphasis is placed on doing the most conservative, natural looking, and predictable dentistry possible. This strategic approach can help ensure the least amount of dentistry over your lifetime.
Dr. Saylor is confident he can provide you with World Class Dentistry in a kind, caring and most importantly trusting environment continuing the tradition of the practice started in 1968 with Dr. Price.
Dr. Saylor loves the practice of dentistry, he is a steward of the profession encouraging young students to pursue dentistry and to preserve the great advances dentistry has made in the United States. Dr. Saylor is married with two children. He enjoys cooking, traveling, fishing and exercise. He strives for balance in his life and enjoys forming authentic relationships that stand the test of time.

Giving back to the community is a strong focus for Dr. Saylor, as you can see in his volunteering history…
November 2, 2007: Dr. Saylor and team volunteered at the Special Smiles event at the Special Olympics held in Orlando at Disney’s World of Sports. We find the oral hygiene of these athletes falls way below average. This event provides exposure to proper oral hygiene through instruction. Education is the cornerstone of our practice so we are happy to volunteer our time.
At a Special Smiles screening the Special Olympics athletes are provided with hygiene education to help ensure they are doing an adequate job of brushing and flossing, nutritional education to understand how their diet affects their total health, free mouth guards for athletes competing in contact or high-risk sports and each athlete receives a “goody bag” containing toothbrush, toothpaste and floss.
The dental screenings are used as a means to increase awareness of the state of the athlete’s oral health for the athletes themselves, as well as their parents. Data is collected for each athlete who receives a dental screening and compiled for analysis. This generates a snapshot of the oral health of a representative sample of the hundreds of thousands of Special Olympics athletes around the world.
