Dental Veneers FAQs

Dental Veneers FAQs

Are veneers bad for your teeth?

Traditional porcelain veneers require some of the existing enamel to be worn away to make room for the new veneers. Fortunately, Dr. Larry Saylor offers a new type of veneers called DURAthin veneers which are extremely thin veneers which do not require a reduction of the enamel.

Do veneers last forever?

The short answer is no, veneers don’t last forever but caring for your veneers can significantly improve their longevity. We recommend maintaining your oral health routine and avoiding food that may stain or reduce the bond of your veneers such as really chewy candy.
